Post-exhibition Reconstruction

Following the exhibition, I documented the full sculpture that I intended to show in the exhibition. I digitally reconstructed the pieces due to framework technical difficulties which prevented me from reconstructing the full work manually.

Here is the chest piece digitally

The only way to document this was to install it on the base for support.

The support bar from the base of the structure, going into the foot was too weak to support the whole sculpture unfortunately. I did not anticipate the full weight of the final piece.

You can see from the different angles how the piece was reconstructed.

This is the final digital reconstruction

For the exhibition my intention was to trail the Chrysanthemums from the floor, around the base of the structure, through the pelvis and up into the chest skeleton, then flowing it through the arms and neck floating upwards into the air.
