1 HOUR EXHIBITION PROJECT

The aim of the project given to us was to come up with creative ideas for an exhibition within 5 days of the project launch. We had the freedom to choose any theme, location, discipline, submission method and whether we will do it a collective or choose a concept individually.
We had to create work, defining the conditions ourselves, in consultation with teachers and peers. Through researching, experimenting and reflecting, we transformed knowledge, intuitions, impressions and emotions into visual work

Through continuously questioning the work and publication processes, we used these results to further develop our work. We also had the freedom to use oral and written skills in order to present our own work to others outside the field or own discipline, it has the opportunity to create a bridge between the art discipline and the public domain.

My work relates to work I have previously showed in my home institution, and thus develops relationships within my own discipline and with other disciplines in an international context. This put a strong focus on our Erasmus Exchange experience in the Netherlands.
I used a variety of cultural and social sources of inspiration in my work, through the use of different language recordings and communication methods. I used my own personal qualities and identity to collaborate effectively with the different roles, responsibilities, interests and abilities in our group
I collaborated with one student on the graphics for the leaflets, we designed it around the idea of the 12 featuring artists which is represented by the 12 yellow lines across the sound wave

The lines also represents the yellow lines on the floor of the art school where the old walls used to be and depicts the communication barriers that we face
